We’ve just announced our new themes, exploring how visualizing Springer Nature publications and data can help to solve challenges in one of the following areas: Humanitarian Aid, Health, Environment, an Inclusive World - or any other challenge you feel passionate about.

Join us to create new applications that help researchers advance discovery, using data visualization and mixed reality. During the event, experts from Springer Nature will support teams as they work with our unique datasets. From eBooks to journals, to research tools like SN SciGraph or APIs from Bookmetrix, Unsilo or Dimensions, we’ll provide you with the metadata behind our products and services.

We believe the future holds many exciting possibilities for scientific data, beyond the published page. Previous Springer Nature Hack Days have explored challenges in discovery, research data and analytics. This event (more information is found here) in our series takes a more visual approach, inspired by advances in Mixed Reality technologies. From creating virtual science labs, to enhancing the reading experience, to interacting in real time with charts and diagrams - help shape the way we use scientific data by advancing discovery and improving research with applications that have never been thought of before. Participants will have access to billions of data points across scientific, technical, and medical publishing with applications across disciplines.

Creative minds across the board are encouraged to participate – including (but not limited to): Developers, Designers, UX Experts, PhDs, University Students, Corporate and Academic Librarians, Knowledge Managers, Corporate Researchers, Product Designers, Data Evangelists and Visionaries.

Save the date and register for the Springer Nature Hackathon via Eventbrite!
Space is limited and tickets are free. We look forward to your participation...
