About Kilin Shi
I'm a research assistant and PhD student at the Institute for Electronics Engineering at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany. I am currently working on pattern recognition algorithms which are capable to extract parameters such as heart rate and heart rate variability from radar-based vital sign measurements. The projects I work on are located in the medical area and aim for a contactless and thereby burden-free monitoring of patients not only in the clinical but also home environment.
