As Senior Research Data Editor at Springer Nature, I will be joining Andrew Hufton, editor-in-chief of Scientific Data, for EGU 2020: Sharing Geoscience Online

We will be presenting ‘Beyond article publishing - support and opportunities for researchers in FAIR data sharing’ during a virtual conference session on Tuesday May 5th at 8:30 – 10:15 CEST/ 7:30-9:15 BST. We will also be hosting an Ask Me Anything open office hour on Thursday May 7th at 11:00-12:00 CEST/ 10:00-11.00 BST, where you can join a smaller virtual meeting to discuss  any queries with myself and Andrew, including but not limited to.:

  • Publishing in data-specific journals or articles, such as flagship data journal Scientific Data
  • Sharing data that support your research publications: requirements and best practice
  • Data curation (including our Research Data Support service), repositories and metadata
