Let’s begin 2020 with a run-down of our Top Five most viewed* Behind the Paper posts of 2019:   

  1. Scoring the most pageviews is Luca Pappalardo’s post about football analytics.    

  2. A post by Joseph Maina about developing a geo-referenced database of health facilities in Africa is our second most viewed.  

  3. Thermal perception on a global scale is the subject of our third most viewed Behind the Paper of 2019, contributed by Marcel Schweiker

  4. Wei Chen explains how to improve data from the GRACE mission satellites - our post at no.4. 

  5. And just making the Top Five, Zhongtao Yin’s Behind the Paper on the assembly of a duck reference genome.
