Having early and rapid access to research findings accelerates the pace of science and is paramount for advancing discovery. As publishers we are ideally placed to help facilitate this and here at Springer Nature making great research available as quickly as possible is a central part of our commitment to the research community.
We are pleased to announce the third release of SN SciGraph Linked Open Data, which includes two brand new datasets - Patents and Clinical Trials linked to Springer Nature publications - among a number of new features that makes it easier to work with the data.
We live in a world full of data that is constantly being gathered, processed and so on. Even though it is so, there's still a gap between that and the accessibility to data; sadly even when the data is held by public institutions. I present here a tiny mental experiment that tries not to persuade but to demonstrate from two opposite perspectives the importance of sharing data.
