In 2018, Springer Nature launched an Open data badges pilot. The initial pilot has now concluded and we thought it worthwhile to share the lessons learned as well as the opportunities and challenges for rolling out badging more widely throughout Springer Nature.
Having early and rapid access to research findings accelerates the pace of science and is paramount for advancing discovery. As publishers we are ideally placed to help facilitate this and here at Springer Nature making great research available as quickly as possible is a central part of our commitment to the research community.
We are pleased to announce the third release of SN SciGraph Linked Open Data, which includes two brand new datasets - Patents and Clinical Trials linked to Springer Nature publications - among a number of new features that makes it easier to work with the data.
